Marina is a wonderful person and a masterful advocate. My situation was a bit complicated, involving three states, court oversight, a property that had not been kept up, and other issues that many real estate professionals would shy away from. Not Marina! She tackled all the issues head-on, kept me updated at every important turn, offered her expert guidance along the way, left the ultimate decisions to me, and facilitated a speedy and financially great result with poise, patience, and kindness. Theresa is VERY knowledgeable, responsive and patient. After taking the time to show/visit many houses that didn’t quite do it for us (we were very specific in what we wanted), we found “the one” and we’re all set to make a full price offer. Theresa pulled comps and took the time to explained why she felt the asking price was a bit too high. Fast forward...two days before closing...we find out the seller has yet to petition bankruptcy court for permission to sell the house (shocked and frustrated is an understatement). We ultimately find out that this can cause a 30+day delay in closing...but we had to be out of our place by the end of the month. One of Theresa‘s mantras is “I never present a problem without a solution, so here are our options...” By the end, we were able to take position of the home, rent free, over two weeks before our actual closing date, and, household items that we agreed to purchase separately from the seller were thrown in for free. These are just a couple of examples but Theresa was right there through every step. She’s great to partner with and she’s a great realtor.
