For most of her life, Michele Johnson felt drawn to real estate. Long before she made it her career, people often said, “You should be a Realtor,” or “Come work for me—I’ll help you get your license.” The passion was always there. It was never a question of if, only when.

Born and raised in Central Virginia, Michele was inspired early on by her father—a land investor turned developer-contractor. She grew up hands-on in the world of land, construction, and hard work, absorbing valuable lessons about grit, precision, and integrity: “This work isn’t for the weak.” “They’re not making land anymore.” “Do it right—or don’t do it at all.”

After graduating from Caroline High School, she left her small-town life in Bowling Green to pursue a business education. Eventually settling in Richmond, Michele bought her first piece of land and built her own home—just one of many milestones on a journey that’s always pointed toward real estate.

With more than 35 years of experience in sales and marketing, mostly in the food industry, Michele developed a strong foundation in client service, negotiation, and leadership. As a single mother, she raised two wonderful children and takes great pride in the bright futures they’re building.

Though she first earned her real estate certification in 2007, the housing crash of 2008 delayed her dreams. Still, she never gave up. In 2020, she finally took the leap into real estate full-time—and she hasn’t looked back since.
